I’m seeing rumors on the twitterverse about some big injuries that haven’t been reported…..so…I’m pulling out the batsignal and paging @OnlyU….
……
…..
@OnlyU, any insights you can share?
-
NarfUteParticipant
If this twitterverse/utenation rumor is true I hope it stays a rumor – No need for Whoregon to know about that.
-
Dwight89Participant
But there is a tremendous need for ME to know about it. My mental well being depends on it.
-
-
SkinyUteParticipant
Seeing rumors floating around as well, and not liking them one bit.
Hopefully they’re just the usual uninformed twitter BS.
-
Dwight89Participant
Yes but everyone is being vague AF and it’s so dumb. Who is rumored to be injured?
-
ironman1315Participant
Seriously, WTF is going on?

St George UteParticipant
Me waiting for information because I have no clue what anyone is talking about 😀 😀 😀
-
Dwight89Participant
Okay I’m finally getting some info. Rumor is Moss got injured in practice last night. Out for the rest of the year. Ugh.
-
Tony (admin)Keymaster
That would be horribly bad.
-
St George UteParticipant
Damn! That’s a gut punch if there ever was one. I feel really bad for Zack. I hope it’s nothing too serious and that he heals quickly. He’s a stud!
Next man up I guess. I like what I’ve seen from Shyne and Green so far this year. IIRC, I think Wood’s had some touches this season too and looked good. We have some guys who will need to step up and fill in. Gotta put the cleats on, rally as a team, and keep fighting.

-
SkinyUteParticipant
At the risk of giving something undue credence, the rumor is about Moss. The one I’ve seen, anyways. Either done for the year due to injury or sitting out to prep for draft.
Again, fingers crossed that it’s baseless speculation.
-
-
Dwight89Participant
I can’t imagine he’s done enough or had enought exposure to be high anough on draft boards to merit sitting out the rest of the season. Don’t get me wrong, Moss is a beast. But I can’t find him on any top ten lists on the first page of Google. Hope you’re wrong on that!
-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
He has played injured most of the season and still rushed for 1000 yards. This is a good business decision and I also wouldn’t want to be rode like a mule the rest of the season. Get healthy make millions.
-
Dwight89Participant
I would agree with you 1000% if he were at the top of the draft boards. But he’s not.
-
Central Coast UteParticipant
They say he could be the #1 RB. Plus I doubt he’s stupid enough to listen to what draft boards say. If he has agents calling him and telling him he’s a top 4 round pick, he’ll listen to them and not what some ESPN reporter says.

Central Coast UteParticipant
I’m betting it’s for the draft. He knows without Huntley there’s no PAC 12 title to play for anyway.
-
-
Itacoatiara22Participant
Guessing it’s true about Moss. Cougarboard is already celebrating and excited for their chances against us now.
-
utefansince79Participant
We’ve played them minus our QB and RB and kicked their ass before.
-
Itacoatiara22Participant
Very true…I think we still have the advantage with our second string guys.
-
ironman1315Participant
We could punt on first down all day and still score more points than them.

WoodutailParticipant
Yup very reliable source Moss got hurt and is out for the season. $$$$
-
ironman1315Participant
I guess it’s Armand’s time to shine.
-
Itacoatiara22Participant
Clever.
-
ironman1315Participant
That’s the first time someone other than me called me that. You’re a saint!

-
KiYi-UteParticipant
Man, this is a kick in the knackers if true. I was having such a good day, too.
-
Utah5410Participant
Can ONLYU confirm ?
-
Utah5410Participant
Would be a major blow. Still have to play the game and how for the best.
-
Puget UteParticipant
Ugh. I finally get to go to a home game and now Huntley and Moss are out.
Next man up, Go Utes!
-
alharmonMember
Please don’t let this be true…
-
gothamuteParticipant
It’s true. SL Tribune reporting it:

-
Utah5410Participant
I still believe. Just need to beat Oregon. i
-
OnlyuParticipant
We are down #2
-
OnlyuParticipant
Smh…previous injury that locked up on him. Not ACL but most likely a ligament injury…small chance it’s the meniscus. 4-6 weeks minimum depending on course of action. Maybe more…either way out for the year.
-
OnlyuParticipant
Shelley has looked good this week…Shyne/Green will step in. Plenty of experience. Shouldn’t have to change the offense…Oregon struggles to stop the run and lost a starting LB last week to a knee injury. They’ve had plenty of O-Line injuries as well this year so should be one dimensional. Gonna have to make some plays in the back half. Still a lot to play for with a experienced and fired up defense. We’ll be ok…obviously hurts but we have “real” quality depth almost everywhere. Next man up.
-
ChidojuanParticipant
Thank you sir, please let Moss know that we love him. Platonic love only of course.

Whether Zack stays or enters the draft, we love him. He’s an inspirational player and a true warrior.
-
-
Central Coast UteParticipant
Seasons over.
-
Utah5410Participant
We are still deep @ RB. Shyne, Green and Brumfield have to step it up.
-
St George UteParticipant
Onlyu, thank you for being willing to come on and provide an insider look. I gave you a thumbs up, not for the message, but for the messenger.
I hope Zack knows we’re behind him and wishing him the best. He’s a Utah Man, through a through.
Time for Shyne, Green, and the rest of the RB corps to step up. They have some big shoes to fill, but I have faith they will get the job done.
Go Utes!!!
