Glover is a true freshman. True freshmen are the most likely RBs to put the ball on the ground. And especially when they’ve had no previous D-1 level games under their belt. And given that we were facing an SEC team — where we never led by more than a TD at any point during the game, there just wasn’t any situation where he could be expected to get some game experience.
It seems to me that new RBs will fumble the ball about 3-times. After that, they’ll learn how to hold onto the ball. I say, let Glover get some of those dropsies out of the way vs. Weber St and SDSU. Not Florida.
