You just know it.. there will be no firings, no changes to coaching assignments, no QB re-evaluation, no scheme changes, no changes to play-calling.. absolutely nothing.. there is no evidence to suggest anything will change.

      Analytics says stay the course.

I think it was 2017 Utah lost four in a row.

It’s ride or die with Wilson at this point .. which is problematic.. he’s 18 hasn’t earned what’s been given and I’m not convinced the team has his back yet or has earned the respect.

The problem is the QB room has been so poorly recruited and developed for so many years that what other options are there other than Wilson? I don’t think the offense performs better with Rose or Huard… might as well go with the younger of the three

Ludwig is the root of the issue, not Wilson.

In another system designed for QB success, I would bet Wilson would be doing far better and fans pointing to him as the quarterback of the future. Utah is just not that system , unfortunately.

Looking at this remaining schedule and our putrid offense, we are looking at an 8 game losing streak this year.

the 2017 parallel is apt. 3 of the 4 were when the starter went down with injury and the highly talented but woefully inaccurate backup was not able to lead the team to victory. The 4th was when the starter tried to return from injury before fully healed and had the worst game of his career.

      Yep. But there’s a very simple solution…

You maybe right, but in the end Whitt will have a much much bigger problem on his hands potentially the players turning against him and refusing to play, the fanbase destroying his name in the stands and on social media and attendance will drop significantly, recruiting will take a hit, and the boosters would demand he do or change something immediately. His reputation and everything is on the line for him if he does nothing. He’s in a bad spot right now, but he has no one to blame for this but himself.

Things will probably change slightly this season, but major changes are coming after the season. Especially if Whit retires and Morgan takes over.
