We’re going to learn a lot about this team on Saturday: 1) Has Whitt lost the locker room or will all these guys still play for him? 2) How does Isaac play now that he knows he’s QB1? Will he be a spark that gives the team energy and juice? 3) Can Ludwig find some success in the red zone? 4) If there’s no improvement in the red zone, what are the odds Whitt fires Ludwig? Probably close to zero (at least until the offseason), but I’d be fascinated to know what Whitt is thinking.
I really hope all our fans show up and give our team a boost on Saturday. Let’s make sure it’s the same old RES. It’s a great opportunity to finally take a step forward. They need to earn our confidence back, but I hope it’s still as loud and rowdy as ever against TCU at night!
