      Also, if Troy takes his time on that second down play, makes the defender choose between him or Moeai, its an EASY TD.

       

      We butchered those two plays about as badly as you could have

      Watched it again. Massive hole right AND a pulling guard. And Shyne has been so good in short yardage situations. Why…

        Williams also should have kept running to the flat to extend it with Moeai and he could easily run in or throw it.  I think he is hurt or something which is why he slid on that scramble he had the middle and slid despite having it open to the first down marker.

      But I will admit you are right this defense has issues.  Huge chunk plays. Domo isn’t even close to game shape.  No Lotulelei and it is a HUGE drop off in ability and what you can scheme.

      This loss is mostly on the offense but holy hell concerning things with that defense.
