Scholarship count now at 12…..save the last one?

With 12 scholarship players (including Kuzma and including Bealer—still haven’t read anything about Bealer getting his extra year tho) should the Utes pocket the remaining scholarship and hold it for a transfer?

The 2017 recruiting class looks nice if you include the two missionaries (which obviously they should be listed as 2019). Speaking of missionaries, does Utah have any currently in the pipeline set to return next year (2018 class)?

I wouldn’t be shocked if we add a player who has to sit out a year. That seems to be necessary for us losing so many players next season.

Now with Kuz gone we have two scholarships. I think this late in the recruiting season it’s just worth giving to one of the walk-ons for one season and then look to fill both next year.

Gonna be a rough season. Lots of scoring has left the building. And we honestly have no bench. Whatever lead the starters might, and that’s a really big might, be able to build will certainly shrink when the back-ups come in.
