Obviously the game ball goes to the defense but in a game like yesterday’s, a punter becomes very important. Ours flipped the field time after time and put our defense in great position. He has vastly improved from last year and our punting game is starting to become a legitimate weapon like it was with Hackett and Wishnowsky (probably not quite to that level yet).
I sure hope Jackson is back for OSU although on a short week I’m not counting on it. Seems he’s been battling injuries all year. The drop off between him and Glover is apparent and significant in my opinion. Would like to see Curry back in the mix next week, he brings a different element.
Last thought, anyone else notice the announcers kept saying “if that was DTR” every time Moore made a bad play? Very weird comment. He’s gone, deal with it. Didn’t ever hear them say “if that was Rising” and he’s still on the roster. Announcers bugged me yesterday
