If you are a season ticket holder like me: show the f**k up on the 16th for the UCLA game. You have two weeks’ notice, it’s a 6pm game. Bring jackets and blankets if you’re going to be cold. Show up early and be loud. This is a top 10 team playing a division foe who also controls their destiny.
If you can’t make it, you have two weeks to find someone who can.
I’m sorry if I come off as a dick. But I’m tired of seeing a half full stadium for this fantastic team. They deserve better.

When the tickets get expensive they are bought by fans that are selective and have options. Sorry.

There is something to be said here. RES ticket market is absurd and opponent has seemed to matter less this year than in past. They’ve just been crazy expensive for every game.

Agree 100%, but you’re probably preaching to the choir on this chat space…

For the record, if season ticket holders can’t make it and can’t sell and are just giving tix away, I’ll happily take them and make the 5 hour drive down to the game.

I agree whole-heartedly! I’ll be there! And if for ANY REASON, I cannot make a game (once in last decade – missed for a function at my son’s college during his senior year) I make damned sure there are Ute fans in my seats – giving tickets away (or selling them) is NEVER hard – just do it!

My seats haven’t been empty for any single game for at least a couple of decades.

Easy, pal. The bandwagon was already full after 2004. Even if the stadium held 90,000, it would be full for this game. Anyone over half a century old knows this.
-
rbmw263Participant
but if it is/was raining and 40 degrees there would be a ton of empty seats. Way more thant there should be

Folks like my dad and aunt can’t hang in the cold and wet. Some are older and can barely walk to/from the game etc. If it is cold and we some people just can’t go.
-
rbmw263Participant
I dont deny that. Yet when these other top 15 teams play in the same weather the stadium has less empty seats.
There are situations like your elders….and then there are an increasing amount of fairweather fans

PS: Also show up before kickoff not on the usual 5-10 minutes late MST time (this in not mountain standard time either).

I’ll make anyone on this board a deal. If you will give me your unused tickets, I promise I will:
1. Be there at any time.
2. Be there in any weather.
3. Cheer and scream as loud as I can.
4. Never boo the Utes.
5. Be in my seat 30 minutes before gametime.
6. Not leave until the team leaves the field. -

Idaho Ute is driving down! DTR will run for his life like Daniels
Went to the UW game last week as well. Great support from the MUSS and Ute fans. We were chanting “let’s go Utah” and “Utah Man” louder than their whole crowd. People in the upper deck kept looking back wondering what the hell was going on. It was awesome!!

I’ve my season tickets for 12 years now. Only missed kick-off one time…..never ever leave before the clock expires in the 4th. All this and I drive up from St George for every game. Rain or shine. Your preaching to the choir.
