Dang. Would have loved to have him but it sounds like he’s got a good thing going there. Hope it’s a great situation for him. Also glad he didn’t go to Oregon.

A little surprised by this. I thought for sure he was going to Oregon.

Makes sense.  Dava Aranda was his D coordinator at LSU.

What does he have going there that’s good?

Dave Aranda, his D coordinator last year is head coach at Baylor.

We’ll be playing him in a few years. Hope he does well and wish him all the best. Luckily, DT has never been a huge position of need for us.

Obviously wish he was playing for us, but glad he is not going to another Pac12 school – especially Oregon. I am tired of Oregon getting top kids from Utah.

And speaking of Oregon, I am annoyed that they get to claim a Pac12 championship this year. They didn’t even win their division, but now they get a top bowl game and whatever boost that comes with it. I could somewhat get over my bitterness if they stopped picking off the top recruits in Utah. I was enjoying seeing them struggle this year, hoping it might make their grass not seem so green.

        They’re the Champions* all right.

Hurts way less seeing him choose Baylor than if he chose Oregon. We’ve lost enough in-state talent to the damn ducks.
