Totally crushing it with this class.

I bet you get off on these kinds of news…

12 Four star recruits this year. Has Utah had 12 four star recruits in all of its football history?

image one, just one class like this for kwhitt. You could almost mail in a Rose Bowl or maybe more

RiseasUtesParticipant
Imagine having Nike money. You can pretend we should be any top program in the nation, but realistically we are doing quite well compared to other programs in the conference that should be better than us.

Sigh, this is always the comeback when avoiding recruiting deficiencies. The ” whe do better with less talent” comeback….
Yes, I get it, kwhitt has done very well with less. The question is how do you substantially improve recruiting so kwhitt can do even better with a higher caliber athlete.
Until he can crack the code Utah will always be at a disadvantage.
Seriously, when Oregon is putting a beatdown on Utah in a couple of years you can point to the class disparity we are seeing now.
But Utah fans always give kwhitt a pass on this. Recruiting is 50% of kwhitts job.

He told you what the code is. Get an ungodly amount of money from oversea sweatshop labor manufacturing.

Sigh, this is always the comeback when trying to pretend Utah can recruit like the top 10 schools in the country. Do you realize how many schools struggle to get any good recruits at P5 schools? Oregon St, Cal, Colorado, Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, Northwestern, Rutgers, Washington St, Mich St, Kansas, Kansas St, TExasTech, Baylor, etc etc etc etc. We are the youngest P5 school out of all of them and we are doing better than at least half of the P5s already. You’re unrealistic in your expectations.
-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
His expectation is to eliminate over 150 years of Mormon history connected to this state(vibe). Then get a donor to give a blank check to the athletic department to spend as much money as USC, Michigan or Bama. Oh yeah fire Whittingham and hire Saban or clone him.
Easy right?

Winning the South isn’t enough. We have to win the conference and go to the playoffs. Winning it with three losses won’t do it. We can get there, but we have to get to the playoff.

from one site we have had 23 4 stars here 6 played this yr.

But I’m a tortured Ute fan..
kwhitt will really need to be a Sabin and Labardi to coach up his diamonds in the rough Rudy’s to have a chance
-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
Fooled me.
-
RiseasUtesParticipant
Diamond in the rough? Saban has all 4 and 5* recruits. We aren’t Bama nor are we going to be. We need to make our 3* guys to look like 4-5*s. KW has found some pretty good players considering our challenges.

We’re all tortured Ute fanatics. Some like to say, “look how far we’ve come.” While others say, “look how far yet to go, how the hell are we going to get there?” We’re all tortured Ute fans.

Amazing what an unlimited amount of money can do for ya.

Every 5 star in the world doesn’t matter if you aren’t winning your division and competing for Rose Bowls.

leftyjaceParticipant
This – just ask USC.
-
EagleMountainUteParticipant
I actually believe Oregon or USC should be doing this. I am not deluded in thinking Utah should be doing this year after year. I do find it heart wrenchingly painful when they blow it against inferior coached teams like Whitt has done for years now. This year was a nice gift though and unexpected.
