I wonder if Gary will try and poach any of Utah’s staff?  The name I’ve heard as a possibility is Justin Ena.

USC is going after Chad K.

Why? He pretty much trashed Utah on his way out last time.

Sione was a stud at Utah, and he had a solid career in the NFL as well. He’ll be just fine. He is not Gary Anderson, but he will do great.

Fantastic hire!  He used to be a GA here, plus he played in the NFL for a 8 years, and coached D Line with Ken Niumatalolo at Navy this last year.

Recruiting doesn’t stop you better be quick on the draw.

Sione has been recruiting Utah for Navy, so already in the state.

I am referring to why the hire happened quickly. Yes I get that.

The timing of this is fascinating. They announced the hire before the ink on GA’s contract was dry. That tells me Whit knew GA was leaving a long time ago.

I’m sure Gary kept Kyle in the loop, they seem to be pretty close.

Great leaders always have a succession plan for every one of their employees, so you have something ready to go whenever any one of them leaves. Looks like Whit’s got his.
