For any fellow SlingTV subscribers, they are working on renewing the contract. Not a big issue for today being it is on PAC12, but something to keep an eye on going forward.

Thought I was losing it. What a joke. SLing was my fist trial. Dumping it tomorrow. Trying Fubu then YouTube TV next.

The only problem with YouTube TV (which I have), no PAC12 Network.

Looks to be DISH also, who I ditched prior to Sling. Can’t win, I must be cursed!

ESPN was asking for $1 Billion in the contract negotiations. If you knew how much of your cable/streaming bill was due to ESPN you’d be pretty p**sed. My buddy who used to work for ABC/Disney/ESPN said most channels cost carriers about $.50 to $1/month per subscriber, but ESPN is around $10/month or more.

I’m tempted to drop that portion of SLING. I don’t “need” ESPN.

Espn is the only reason i get cable (and pac network). It makes sense they command so much. Why we need more competition.
