I turn around and there is a black Turkey behind me following us. I told my boys that it is the ghost of the Turkey we ate yesterday. Well they won’t leave it alone and now it is hanging out with us. I must be cursed or something. My three year old thinks it is the funnest thing ever. Kids don’t believe any ghost stories these days.
Funny this seems to be happening more and more. There was a story on teevee about a turkey in a neighboring town that the people had adopted. Then yesterday one of my colleagues posted on FB there was one in his neighborhood that was hanging out. Wouldn’t be surprised to see one in my neighborhood as we have a string of ponds and open space along them with a “wilderness” city park nearby. Instead we have problems with beavers taking down trees.
I heard those activitist set lose some turkeys on a reserve. This ain’t no reserve this is West Valley bound to get his head chopped off by days end. We are over by Fassio egg farm and people still have farm animals in the area. Idk boys think it is hilarious.
