      Man, I can’t freaking wait.

I actually think the best move here is Harding to Assistant Head Coach.

If Whitt stayed 3-5 more years then retired, I’d want Harding as our next HC. Great move to potentially groom our future.

Interesting take. What is it about Harding you see as future HC material?

I’m just expecting fire Troy comments during this game.

I have a different take. Hopefully Taylor stays until Whit retires and takes over as HC.

Who was the last offensive minded head coach to win a national championship?

I was just thinking that, Tacoma… if this guy is as good at the P5 level as he was at the FCS level, we may want to have that lure on the line for Taylor.

I like the fact that he had success so instantly at EWU. He didn’t need a couple seasons to adjust. IIRC he did it with a walk on sophomore QB.

Stop. Just stop. I’m getting a….. um…. good feeling in my stomach.

        A cold shower might help!

Expect major growing pains in spring. This looks to be the most dramatic scheme change we’ve had in our oc hires

rbmw263: And it is long over due. Ever since Whit took over, he has asked his OCs to run this hybrid spread read-option garbage with one exception – Chow.

Having an OC run an offense he is familiar with and comfortable running should help negate the growing pains of having the players learn a new scheme.
