Since November of 2020, UteHub.com has logged a minimum of 3 million hits per month by roughly 120,000 unique visitors per month. 4+ million hits in December of 2020 was the peak with about 140,000 unique visitors. 

We’re closing in on 3000 registered users, but there are many more non-registered, drive-by users who stop by and read but don’t login or post. 

iOS mobile apps have been installed on about 7,800 devices according to Apple. BUT about 2,500 of those are in China and I’m not sure what’s up with that. Are there really 2500 Utes fans in china?  U.S.A. Installs are about 4,800.

Where I use to work… there were always incredible numbers of strangers from China at the firewall door. However, not a one had a reason to be there and we were sure none had good intentions. If there was one actual ute fan visiting or traveling to China and wanted to install the app, I would be very surprised. As of today, they just have not figured out how to bother you or care to do so. I think they very much like to take things apart and look and try to learn, but for the most part there are lots of them.

I wonder what percentage of those unique visitors are bots.  I am sure there are quite a few lurkers, but not quite that many…

No way to know really. But it is interesting that the bots visit the site more often during football season.
