Sort of an epiphany

So Utah goes down early. ASU was playing on a lot of emotion and Utah had two unforced turnovers early. ASU manages only 13 points off of it. But I thought no way Utah responds they just look awful. Utah comes back and outscores ASU 49-13. Just wow.

I have to say Utah has officially arrived I have to stop expecting the early fails Utah had going into the PAC12. It was clear which team had better depth and talent by the fourth quarter. Asu is just a bad team..yes they have had their share of injuries but so has Utah. Utah had those early wins against Stanfors and slew the giant. But now who is the giant? Utah is now a P5 program. Utah was down 14-0 against a top four team at home. Utah came back and moral victories are still losses but still looked impressive despite the injuries. Yes Utah blew it on the road against Cal. No excuses on that poor coaching decisions were all over in that game. But still you have to say Utah looks like a premier PAC12 team.

It is a bit of an epiphany but things look a lot more even. But this time against ASU I have to say the better Team absolutely won and pretty much dominated that second half.

I have to agree, the first few years in the Pac12 it felt like we were just trying to hang on in many games. The injuries we have this year would have resulted in a 4-8 or 5-7 year just a couple years ago.

If we get past Oregon and Colorado unscathed, I think UW is thinking we are not the team from the South they want to face, maybe USC, we’ll see this weekend. Luckily UW still has to get by WSU. It would be awesome to have us win the Pac12 Championship over WSU and get the Rose Bowl.

A couple years ago I felt bad we cost Stanford a shot at the CFP, now I don’t really care when we dash a team’s CFP dreams. All in or in the way!!!!!
