  How does USC do against Urban tonight? I’ll be watching that one prior to the Utah MBB @ Oregon game.

      Buckeyes are bad, USC is worse. Plus, USC losing does benefit Utah slightly, whereas tOSU losing does nothing to help Utah.

        ^^Disgree. tOSU loses, fires Urban, Utah hires Urban, Utah plays tOSU in CFP 2018, Utah wins natty.

  At this point the whole “back the pac” idea is a lost cause. Might as well root for them all to lose for recruiting sake.

    I can understand not being able to stand THE Ohio St., but a Utah fan not being able to stand Urban? I just can’t figure out that line of thinking. He completely changed the trajectory of Utah football. Without him, we’re in the MWC today.
    
    I know a lot of people don’t like how/when he left Utah, but I don’t see that making him worthy of our loathing. And during his brief time here, he was as committed to Utah as any coach we’ve ever had – I have stories that speak to that.

      Maybe I should clarify. Can I be grateful for what Urban did for Utah football and still not like him as a person and root against him?

        Of course you can; you can do whatever you like or feel however you like. But the personal dislike of Urban doesn’t resonate with my experiences with him. I always found him to be a stand-up guy. I know many fans don’t like the noises he made prior to leaving, but really they were no different than what any of us would say about our current employer while we’re being courted to a new job.
