ParticipantAnyone know how the parking is at the Spring Game? Usually we take the Trax on game day but can’t imagine the Spring Game drawing the same crowd, wondering if we could find parking at the stadium. Anyone have any insight? Thanks.

ParticipantAlso, this seems like a typo, is this right? Seems like only the east and west lots would allow tailgating.
While there are no designated tailgate areas for the spring game, tailgating is permitted on campus other than the east and west Rice-Eccles Stadium lots.

ParticipantLast year I went and thought, oh parking wont be bad.
Parking is always bad at the U.
Also with the spring game never stopping the clock, last year after searching for parking…I finally waltzed into RES and it was halfway through the second quarter. These things go by quickly.
Tomorrow it might be different though with the poor weather. Less people will be there- i’m not sure if I’m going or not. I keep checking the weather report.
The safe assumption is to always assume that parking will be a clusterfrank up there.

ParticipantKeep in mind the SLC Marathon is tomorrow as well. That will make driving difficult especially if you’re coming from the west.

ParticipantOne year they should try to coordinate with the marathon so they’re not on the same day. Oh well, y’all have fun at the spring game and someone remain sober so you can report back here 😉

ParticipantYou can watch the game on TV if you have the PACN.

ParticipantIn case anyone was wondering for future games, plenty of parking available for the game. We got to the tailgating lot on Guardsman Way at like 10:30 am and there were plenty of spots available when we left for the game. Granted weather wasn’t great, so maybe that kept people away.
Also, after the game fans were allowed on the field for 20 minutes. Plenty of players stayed and took pictures with fans, was pretty cool.
Game itself was great, lots of young players looked great, Glover and Barton really stood out to me. Rising only played one series but looked in complete control of the offense, should be a fun year!
