  There’s not a whole lot to choose from in the Spring Portal, and as Whittingham mentioned there’s no bag of cash that he’s aware of to attract the best out there. However, we are getting a visit from a former five star receiver (Micah Hudson) on Saturday (he’s been slightly downgraded to a 4 star on 247). As I looked at undecided players Joe Cotton caught my eye. He was an unrated OT that played for South Dakota but he is now ranked as a 4 star prospect. I haven’t seen any news indicating interest in Utah but I’m wondering if he is even on Utah’s radar. Anyone have any info I don’t have?

  We desperately need D-line talent. We have no viable backup DT’s and Fano is our only good DE. Fitzgerald and Daley could improve, but it’s not a guarantee.

    The only good DE? That’s not true. Dillon, Holtzclaw, Fitzgerald and Daley are good.

  We’ve offered DT Ian Jeffries out of Arkansas State….3 years eligibility remaining.

  On Cotton, he entered the portal with a “Do Not Contact” Tag and is really apparently only looking at Cincy and Wisconsin
  
  Lots of teams are interested but he seems to already have some thoughts in mind
