      This game was actually a shoot out in 2016. Final score was 52-45. Utah won the turnover margin 5-2. Wishnowsky punted 7 times! So it was kind of an ugly game for Utah. Not for Williams though.

        In all of those Carrie’s he never once had to make a guy miss behind the LOS. Great blocking, ass ugly defense. Any of our rbs from the last 20 years would have done the same.

          I agree the defense was as bad as any I’ve seen, disagree about any of our past backs taking those runs to the house, big gains sure but JW had a whole other level of speed.

      Joe Williams remains my favorite Ute of all time. He may not have been a shifty running back – making guys miss. But it was so fun watching him get edges and just run away from everyone. 

      His comeback was a great story too!
