Yet, Jeff Sagarin rates 11 out of 12 teams in our conference inside his top 60. You know what other conference can say that? Not a damn one. The Big 10 is great at the top but has a majority of their conference rated outside of the top 50, with multiple out of the top 60, the Big 12 comes close but only having 10 teams and 2 of them outside of the top 60 (one WAY outside top 60) kills their %.

Its pretty clear, when it comes to top to bottom depth, this conference is still one of the best, if not the best, and is criminally underrated due to parity.

Pac12 is down compared to the past Imo but compared to other conferences this season? Good hell some P5 conferences you could argue they have five bye games scheduled.

On ESPN Booger McFarland said that an undefeated Washington shouldn’t get in over and undefeated Baylor, because the BIG12 is a better conference.

Absolutely ridiculous. So many cupcakes in the BIG12.

If USC isn’t the best team in the conference, the rest of the country doesn’t care.

To to be fair, it’s tough to care when 10 of your 12 teams play at 9ET or later.

Uncle Larry has done a poor job with the Pac Network. Also at scheduling games.

I think it’s perception rather than data. What’s the perception? Well, 8 teams get into post season play last year and we screw the pooch big time. OOC games this year were again lackluster. The way to change the perception, because we all know #PAC12AfterDark is #PastBedtime non-west, is to start embarrassing OOC teams. Err scratch, how about just winning OOC games.

Even during Oregon’s dominance, they usually choked when they got to the championship. Or they choked when they opened the season against LSU. I think people thought, “yeah they’re good in the PAC12 but can’t compete with the SEC.”

But when UCLA goes to Kyle Field and nearly takes down the team that is widely considered to be the only legit challenger to Alabama in the SEC……not a peep

Rosen lost UCLA that game I think.  He just didn’t know when to simply go down and survive another down.  I know he dragged them back into it and nearly won but he also nearly lost it.

Uncle Larry’s job is to maximize television revenue, not deliver a CFP contender.
