KW suggested in his presser that TT has made some progress with his issues.  I hope he plays with passion and has a Williams-type game in the Rose Bowl.

If Tavion has the game last year against UCLA. We will be in great shape.

This will be the first normal week of practice for Tavion since SDSU. I expect a much better week from him. We have an average score of 42-14 through 5 games and yet we’re asking for much more. UCLA and Washington are overrated by the way. Neither has played anyone. Sparty is a mess this year. DTR has been mediocre anytime he’s pressed so as long as he plays like he’s known to play and we play our normal physical style we’ll bring him back to reality.

Expect the O-line, JT and the D-line to be much better this week with what they have on tape. Love our chances with Cam behind center.

SC/Gameday/6 pm start. Take care of business this week and let’s have some fun.

I think I have been overestimating Washington since that win.
        Chip Kelly doesn’t scare me.

For what ever reason, we seem to match up well with Chip Kelly’s schemes.  Hopefully we see more progress/improvement with the run game and the various O sets minus Kuithe.  This team clearly has talent, a lot of it just needs a little more seasoning.

I saw Tavion leaving the stadium while the team was clearly in the locker room or even still out on the field after the OSU game.  Hope he is getting to a good place to be happy and ready to get back to where he was last year.

Also, my untrained eye says JJ could turn into a VERY compelling RB option.  Size, speed, and can mix it up with a throw.  Plus he seems like such a great kid, I’m really rooting for him.

A lot of excitement in the building about JJ. He’s an athletic freak so once he picks up the blocking assignments, nuances of being an RB the sky’s the limit for that kid. Time will tell but he could be very special and I also wouldn’t bet against him. Can’t wait to watch him develop.
