Shane Buechele’s father Steve was in my AP Calculus class at Servite. He played baseball at Stanford and went on to play for the Pirates (World Series or two) and Texas Rangers (3rd baseman). His Sr Year, Servite won 4A CIF baseball title lead by Mike Witt (California Angels) and Steve Buechele as Pitchers. Witt had like a 0.40 ERA and I swear his curve ball would break 3′.

Equanimeous St. Brown for ND also went to Servite. His father attended Cal State Fullerton while a I was there and was multi-time Mr. Universe body builder, but undoubtedly was on rhoids. Utah wanted St. Brown badly.

Playing the two QBs worked out brilliantly.

I’d say the two QB rotation worked quite well. The key is that they used them for entirely different purposes.

Notre Dame had how many players arrested again?

I feel like they are overrated. Also jeez cover the long ball those safety’s were beyond terrible for ND. A lot of questionable play calling offensively to end the game.
