This came on suddenly. A friend of mine is now fighting for his life. After a routine checkup they found cancer in a couple of major places in his body. He let me know he’s going in for round two of chemo tomorrow via text.
Prayr’s to your friend. My sister finished up a year’s worth of treatments for breast cancer. Chemo, radiation, double mastectomy. She’s doing fine. The hardest part is the mental part.
I got through testicular cancer that had metastasized to my lymph nodes. I consider myself extremely lucky that it was all operable and I never needed chemo. I agree with WSC, the hardest part is mental. Oh, and don’t feel sorry for him, just let him know that you’re there to support his fight.
