      For bringing back some of the competitiveness/nastiness back into the rivalry. I know the TSPP game is a bit of a polarizing topic, but in my opinion, rivalries are so much fun as a fan when you have teams that put pride into it. Our last meeting with TSPP was boring leading up to it. No added energy from the players or coaches (at least in the media). I always thought it was strange that they were treating it as just another game. Florida/FSU, Michigan/OSU, SC/ND would never treat rivalry games, conference or out of conference games alike – as just another game. To me, this makes being a fan so fun (and a little stressful come Gametime).

      Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. I would usually just say this to my wife – but I’ll giver her a break before the season starts.

      CB is having fun with it. One poster said that Cam looks like a 50-year-old guy looking for his pack of Marlboros.

      Having a break from the “rivalry” for a couple years has been SO nice. Not having to deal whatsoever with Zoobs and all their whiny Zoobishness has honestly been a breath of fresh air. I kinda wish it would continue, tbh.

      There’s a half dozen games on this year’s schedule that I’m more interested in than BYU, regardless of whatever pre-season trash talk comes out of media days.

      I’m sure I’ll get downvoted for this, but I’d really just love to just be done with them forever.

        To the contrary, I just upvoted your comment. I feel exactly the same. I’d rather never see or hear from them ever again.

        No down votes needed – I can absolutely see where you are coming from. That first official
        Conference game @ OKST is probably my favorite on the schedule. It’s going to be a top tier CFB atmosphere.

        Upvote from me as well. Unless TDS was going to make it into the future P2 or Super League (which it doesn’t sound like they have a shot), I think it’s inevitable that this rivalry will soon end up like Utah vs Utah St….history. And I’m absolutely fine with never having to deal with them again.
