I get that we’re all disappointed with how Cam played (rightly so) and disappointed that the coaches left him in (rightly so) after previously being disappointed that the coaches weren’t playing him.

And there’s blame to go on the defense (especially the rush defense, which was gashed by both Arizona and Arizona St).

But the biggest issue is that we keep stalling out instead of finishing drives.

Here’s our forays inside the opponent 30 in the last two games

• Turnover on Downs at 10
• Turnover on Downs at 2
• FG from 5
• TD (pass to Lohner from 20)
• FG from 29
• FG from 22
• Interception from 19
• FG from 11 (after advancing to the 6)
• TD (Bernard run from 6)
• Turnover on Downs at 24 (after advancing to 21)
• FG from 28 (after starting at the 29 and advancing to the 13)

That’s 11 scoring opportunities. 2 of them turned into touchdowns, 5 into FG, 4 into turnovers with no points.

That’s 2.64 points on average when we get past the opponent 30.
