Whitt has come close but hasn’t been able to solve Leach’s system.  Without Leach, WSU is at the bottom of this conference instead of the top.

Unfortunately, Leach’s vocal outspokeness (politically or otherwise) seems to limit his hireability.  For example, I think he would be a terrific fit at Colorado, but I don’t think Boulder would ever go for that.  He’s okay at some outpost like Lubbuck or Pullman, but not sure where else he would fit.

I have it on good authority that he is going to TDS. They say it’s between him and Andy Reid.

I love Mike Leach. I hope he stays until either he dies or I do.

Same. I just can’t be mad at the guy. I’ve accepted that he’s an offensive genius and just have this respect for him that isn’t matched by many other opposing coaches.

Leach is as smart as his quarterback is good.

I love Leach 11 weeks out of the season. He is a national treasure.

His next stop should be in the NFL either as an O-Coordinator or head coach. As seen by that tipping point game last night Chiefs vs. Rams the NFL has fully embraced college spread and vertical concepts. The 2 yards and cloud of dust (unfortunately my Cowboys philsophy) is antiquated and no longer correlated with wins. In the NFL passing efficiency and deviation from the norm more heavily correlated with wins than defense or rushing. Leach would be a perfect fit for an NFL team that wants to join the new NFL spread game.
