the disruption it may cause in the locker room.  We are playing possibly our biggest game since joing the PAC12 this Saturday.  The team needs total focus.  Something like this has to be at least somewhat disruptive.  I hate the timing of this.

      Go Utes!!!

I wouldn’t worry too much about locker room disruption. He was the 3rd string QB and never played a snap.

It can cause a distraction imo. It is poor timing and something was going on with Huntley the demons or whatever that caused the slow start offensively.

I wonder if there was some sort of “Porcelain Doll Effect” in action with Huntley. Whittingham talked all offseason about not letting him take hits, then in the losses to UW and WSU he was jittery and seemed like he was throwing to avoid the sack. Maybe that combined with the thought of injury a la Kylie Fitts kept him tightly wound. These past two games, they seemed to let him run a little more free and he’s a lot looser because of it. Just a thought. The demons quote on his Twitter was retweet from a song called Go Crazy by YFN Lucci, everyone read too much into it.

Pre game Arizona comments by players say something was going on. Simpkins confirmed “things” were going on.

Must have missed that. Thanks for clarifying.

I am not calling this offense “fragile” but good hell the drops and stuff were weird. This is very much a distraction but it might make Huntley play even better now that the hype is gone.

Players will be happy to see a prima donna leave who wasn’t willing to earn playing time.

This.  I doubt the players think of Tuttle as some amazing guy they can’t succeed without.  These guys were all world in high school and all likely think they should be out there making plays.  With or without Tuttle.

Which is a coaching failure!  This should have been handled better and the timing is terrible.  If we are going to compete for the best recruits in the country cour coaching staff is going to learn that they have to be treated differently than kids that feel disrespected because they didn’t get the offers that they wanted.  This could hurt us with other high level 4 star guys going forward.

Cmon bruh. The coaching staff can’t control when someone just up and quits.

Which 4 star guys? We have more than just one.

        Good riddance.

The impact is that you can’t have a QB injury so Huntley must take care of himself. It might even affect the playcalling to avoid the contact.
