Interesting radio banter the last couple mornings – Big12 getting worried they may get left out this year. For some reason blaming Utah that Okla is #9. Somehow Oregon gets a pass (more sexy offense is what it boils down to), but they are really butt-hurt about getting put behind the Utes. They’re arguing for rooting for an Oregon loss but they don’t want it to be Utah in the Pac-12 Championship. They’re rooting for UCLA and the Arizona schools in the Pac-12.

Do I think Okla is better than Utah – yes, yes I do.
But you can’t lose to Kstate without suffering the consequences. Okla will have multiple chances to get back into the playoff picture.
There are far too many playoffs scenarios and to get worked up on rankings is a waste of time.
The only thing that is a certainty for each team chasing the dream – JUST WIN

You can’t “get flat run over by K-State” for 3.5 quarters and lose without consequences. Fixed it for you.

You’re right. All they can do is win. However, I dont see a path for Oklahoma to make the playoff. This year it will most likely be two SEC teams, Clemson and OSU. Unless there is major upheaval in the next few weeks of course.

Sounds like a bunch of crybaby garbage. Oregon has a lot of P5 national clout over the last 15 years. Utah doesn’t have that same level of respect. I vote Utah wins the next 4 games and the Big12 can feast on their cowpies.

Isn’t it cute when the folks in the 7 on 7 league get mad. Jalen Hurts didn’t suddenly become a prolific passing qb overnight.

Oklahoma is soft. There defense is garbage. The big-12 itself is soft. Just look at OKL in the playoff when defense REALLY matters. I dont think OKL is better than Utah. It would be a good game, but a coin flip. Credit the committee for finally seeing how weak OK really is.

If Oregon’s offense is sexy then Utah’s defense is like Grace Kelly.

If Oregon’s offense is sexy, then Utah’s offense is her best friend played by Alexandra Daddario, who is acutally sexier than the hot lead but wears more conservative clothes.

Big 12 was the panicked conference after missing the inital CFP, and two of the first three. So they created a championship game for a league with a round robin schedule. Bizarre. Aside from an OT game with Georgia, they have lost by double digits in their other two playoff games. Big 12 (Oklahoma) is 0-3 in CFP. This year would be no different. Worst defense of any contender.

You who really doesn’t want to see Utah in the playoffs?

And besides, we are all rooting for Clemson, Baylor, Georgia, etc to lose too. If we run the table, we want a shot.

How can they watch Oregon’s offense & Utah’s offense and feel that Oregon’s is more sexy? For me, everything Utah does on offense is sexy – pounding the ball down the opponents throat complemented by efficient passing. Oh well, just gotta keep winning.

Huntley makes more NFL throws than the number one pick. That is how Huntley gets a chance at the NFL. Outplaying Oregon in the P12Ship he may get a shot.
-
Central Coast UteParticipant
Huntley is playing better than Herbert right now for sure. And as far as running backs go, Moss is hands down better than anyone OU has. But you asked how can they watch both offenses and think OU is more sexy. The answer to that is they don’t watch them. Utah has been on the PAC 12 network far too much this year. It’s offense isn’t really all that sexy either. They’re just assuming they are because of how they played during the Chip Kelly era, which I guess they havent figured out ended a long time ago.

Haha, their anger and frustration warms my heart. Oklahoma has a very good offense, but their defense is straight garbage. Utah is a much more balanced team, good offense and elite defense. I actually think Utah-Oklahoma would be a good game.
