  All this board is going to do is further fractionate the ute online fan community. There’s no niche for a board like this. If I want to post on a board with this ‘modern’ format, I can already find it on Utahby5.com.
  
  What we need is a forum with the style of utefans.net but no ads and fundraisers to support a perpetually unemployed site owner.
  
  The only people who are going to settle here are people who are so bigoted against Mormons that they won’t post on utahby5.com due to a high concentration of Mormons at that site.

  I bet the site owner here can make this look like Utefans. He put this thing together in one hour and then took off to go golfing. Based on what he posted on Utefans, he wasn’t planning on opening it up yet, but I’m glad he did.
  
  I’m impressed that he did all this in an hour.
  
  I’ve been unable to log on to Utahby5 for a long time. Two times contacted admin and was ignored. Tacoma (I think) had the same problem. I hope this site becomes what utefans was.

    I just stopped by utahby5.com. It looks like they don’t want a mass immigration from UF.N, they worry about ant-Mormon rhetoric infiltrating the board. This may explain why they’re not letting you and Tacoma Ute in.

  I’ve been banned from utahby5.com. Maybe you’ve had the same done to you, they don’t put up with much dissent there, especially if you’re not Mormon.

  This is DAY ONE people. Maybe wait until day two before you say the site will fail… Making it to day three without it melting down will be a minor success in my eyes.
  
  I didn’t build this site to be just like UFN or like utahby5 (didn’t even know that site existed until yesterday). I’d like to build it into, well, a Ute Hub. A place where ute fans gather and can talk about whatever, and do OTHER things than just post in a forum.
  
  If you want the site to succeed and be the best, chime in with your suggestions. Watch for the new suggestion thread I’ll start.

    Don’t listen to the critic. He has been banned multiple times from every Utes site that has ever existed.

    I’ve actually changed my opinion of the board substantially now that I’m getting used to it and tried it on my phone. I’m really starting to like it, and think it may even succeed.

  Such a constructive post. Seriously, do you have nothing better to do than come here and crap on someone’s attempt to make a new, vibrant place for Ute fans to come and share in their fandom?
  
  Perhaps you could, instead, come with something helpful to contribute?
  
  I guess that’s too much to ask of some people.

    He’ll be banned before long. No matter how forgiving the owner of any site is he will always find a way to cross the lines. That’s just what he does. I’ve seen this movie dozens of times before.

    I firmly believe he is one of the alternate identities on Utefans. I think if you boiled down Utefans it has about 15 posters and mostly lurkers.

      This probably isn’t too far from the truth, and sadly it probably won’t be getting better over there.
      
      Here’s hoping we can leave that junk over there.
