  Coaches Poll is still a joke. Michigan State dropped to 4th while Utah stays at 7th. Tell me again who Michigan State has beaten because apparently the coaches think that win — eeked past is more like it — against unranked Rutgers was huge enough to keep them in the top 4.

  These polls are useless and I hope eventually will go away entirely until the CFP rankings.

    I’m trying to remember from last year, but I’m pretty sure all the polls do in fact go away when the playoff committee starts putting out their poll. Until then, the polls are just for fun and discussion, which I’d rather have than not.
