Thoughts from C-13, row 25

1. Marquise Blair is nasty awesome. Love his tenacity.

2. LOVED watching Chase play linebacker. Dude has such talent and a nose for the ball. 

3. Moss is the BEAST. 150 yards.  He can be a bruiser or a speedster with moves. The whole package.

4. Huntley may have been a little too amped.  Throws were really hard but fairly accurate, most the time.

5. Receivers weren’t making many catches, especially in the first half (see #4). Siaosi Mariner broke out and had a solid game.

6. O line at times looked good, and sometimes got blown up.  Work to do for sure. 

7. Defensive secondary is amazing, as expected. 

8. The weather was perfect. Such a beauty of a night. 

9. No injuries, though Covey limped off after one play. 

10. Covey is such a joy to watch.  That breakaway play he had reminded me of his high school highlight reel.

11. After the slow start which we all were lamenting, we scored 41 straight and held an opposing offense to the 3rd best offensive total in Utah D history.

Loved the one where Blair destroyed the blocker, then got to the quarterback in the same play. 

Moss truly does have the best of both worlds. 

Loved seeing enis, Brumfield and kuithe out there. Those guys are the future of the program and getting them some run is a huge deal. 

Covey remained electric two years later! So fun to watch. He turned that trick play from nothing I to something. 

Shelley had a good run and a good throw.

Man Blair has taken it up a notch. He did well in pass protection and didn’t over pursue like he often did last year. He is a PLAYER.
