      When I give a thumbs up or down, will the message’s composer see that I voted that way? In other words, do I need to announce that I’m the one that gave their message a big fat thumbs down?

        This is a very good thing IMHO.  A long time ago on another board I got harassed for leaving thumbs down before I realized that a poster could see who gave them the thumbs down.  I just stopped ever giving a thumbs down from then on, but it always seemed kind of weird that posters could intimidate you into not taking away their sacred internet points.

            I’ve since learned my lesson. Now that you’ve given me a thumbs down I have no choice but to hunt down you and your loved ones and destroy all of them.

      It’s a message board people! It’s not like someone disliking something you have to say has any more effect than a fart in a windstorm.

      You only see a thumbs down? Can you post a screenshot of that? Also tell me what device you are on?
