Ticket prices

I know I’m a few months behind on this discussion, but the MUSS just released prices for this year, it’s insane they have increased by $30-40 from when I first started school. Seeing posts months ago about season ticket increases I’m worried we will lose any home field advantage, definitely won’t be the hornets nest anymore

It’s $70. It’ll be fine.

We used to permanently borrow the recycled aluminum cans under the WEB stairs for beer money, one run of that would net you enough for MUSS tickets.

Where are the cans? Upper or lower WEB?

15 years ago they used to stick them under the north east staircase at upper WEB. Real easy to borrow them out the door right there (i’m not condoning doing this…)

Yes but it’s $70 with a month notice if you want to buy, then if you’re married to a non student it jumps up to $370. Also I don’t remember the last time Utah paid for cans. The muss is turning into a lame excuse of a student section with more than 1/2 leaving at half time and not even paying attention when they are there.

$70 and even $370 are both fairly reasonable in my opinion. Especially if you can get in the lower section by signing up right at the go.

My invoice was many times that for worse seats. I get students should get a deal to come support, but $70 still feels decent to me.

I agree it’s nothing compared to normal tickets but if they ever want to build up to something like the SEC teams have then it’s gotta change plus they are making prices worse for other tickets making the fans in general less likely to show. Not saying $70 is that awful but my first year was $250 for both mine and my wife’s and I’ve heard how high the CC prices are. I know sells go along with success but the past 2 years have been disappointing compared to the 2 before them as far as atmosphere goes and the price doesn’t reflect the atmosphere
