      We are a UA team, as long as that is the case we will always have some sort of tacky element to our basic jerseys. UA doesn’t do simple unless it is a throwback jersey.

        At the very least, the Utah equipment team needs to get UA to finally drop the two-tone sleeves and go with all one color for the jerseys.

      This uniform seems generic to me. You could tell me it was Weber State and I would believe it.

      Utah definitely needs a new uniform, and UA is poo poo.

      On one hand I am intrigued… on another hand I will forever be traumatized by “TCU” and “newly unveiled uniform” being in the same sentence.

      The solution is pretty simple for me and doesn’t involve a redesign or firing UA (my hope and dream).

      Adopt the throwback red and whites, white and whites as the go to standard. Use the red and silver as the go to throwback. Retire red, black and white shoulder patch current standard unis. Stop switching.

      Do a special uniform and/or helmet once a year.

        That’s what I’m talking about! But let’s keep one “Blackout” game per year. They seem to be historically right around Halloween weekend. That seems reasonable to me.

          I’d prefer they make the USS Salt Lake Uniforms the permanent military appreciation uniforms. Those were by far the coolest military appreciation unis and it’s not even close.

            The USS Salt Lake unis were pretty great and should be kept in the rotation. But my all time favs lately were the throwback red and grey unis. They looked very Ohio state-ish, but they were amazing! Our standard unis are blah…

              Our throwback Red & Gray uniforms are also my favorite as well. I’ve been very disappointed that we hadn’t seen it again since 2019.

      As a BYU fan I’ve always preferred Utah’s unis to ours. However, I like the simple Utah uniforms. All red at home, and red pants, white jerseys on road. Always with the classic red helmet with white facemask and drum and feather logo.

      The black jerseys bug me. Hate when byu wears them. With the modern fabrics, byu royal jerseys with white pants and white helmets is one of the cleanest in cfb. Utah could similarly have a very clean look, but seem to be all in on the black.
