This day in age with social media and all the information out there it’s getting harder and harder to get guys to buy in to a team sport/environment. I have no idea why this guy would leave the day before camp. Seems very selfish, however that being said we all need to do what’s best for ourselves. We are all selfish to an extent. That all being said if there’s one coach/program who cons survive thus it’s Utah. Coach whit would rather suspend/bench a talented guy for a walk on who buys in and puts the team first. The topic of tomorrow for Whit will be to make it very clear that Utah is a team and that you are either in or in the way. I believe the team will buy in, the guys behind will be coached up and the team will be fine. I will go off of what whit has done with much less. That being said, loyalty is dead. Be grateful for the way whit coaches and teaches, it’s becoming more and more a thing of got past.
