The situation within the ASU football program is dire. The facility is closed. An entire side of the ball has it. 6-staff members are positive. And they’re just at the beginning of the outbreak. When asked to describe it I was told: “This is bad. Really, really bad.”
If it’s that bad, there is a real chance they arent ready in 2 weeks. Hopefully we can matchup with somebody else
Hate to say it, USC and ASU are likely a no go. Whether Utah is ready or not, I highly doubt USC is going to risk a trip to SLC now in the P12 Championship hunt and NY6 or play-off hunt. To much at stake. Some schools have it figured out and others don’t. How Notre Dame played this weekend shows how weird this thing is. Notre Dame players were tested four times prior to the BC game with zero positives after last weeks field celebration.
We’re not competing for anything, so forget that. If we can get the younger players some game experience at all, it’s the only “win” we’re going to get this season. Once you accept that, then you’ll have some more peace of mind.
