Thanks. Admittedly when I started the site I just thought I’d sit back and have cordial conversations about the Utes. I didn’t anticipate the trolls, weirdos, and spam bots. Definitely a shocker.

Fortunately I have a paid plugin I’m using that gets most of the spam. There have been 40,000 attempted spams blocked in the last week. A few get through but as soon as I see them I mark them so that the plugin can add their emails and IP addresses to the database and reported to blacklist databases.

The most recent guys that made it through the filter were our fans in Pakistan.

Yeah I can see the country that the IP address is coming from, but that doesn’t mean they’re there.

They’re from Pakistan…they kept talking about ship tenders in Lahore. Lahore is Pakistan’s biggest port city.
