One of the great figures in bluegrass music passed away Christmas morning 2020. Tony Rice, guitar player, singer and band leader influenced bluegrass and jazz since the early 1970s. His flatpicking guitar style changed bluegrass guitar and his modern approach to singing old songs brought them to a new generation.
Music from the True Vine will present a full show of the many different groups, duets and solo recording from his career. Shortly after 10 AM KBOO has prepared a special set of live recordings from different groups Tony Rice worked with through the years.
