I can’t muster enough emotion to care anymore. Watching the offense implode every game with false starts, delay of game (or wasted timeouts to not get a delay of game), holding penalties etc. and then hoping that the defense can somehow bail us out is not a strategy to win. I now feel the same about Whittingham that I did with Ron McBride. I’d rather watch the Utes loose trying to win than loose tryinng not to loose.
Usually I would be nervous watching the end of the game. Not tonight, I watched the Ute offense go up in flames and couldn’t be bothered to care. If the Utes can somhow manage to come out on top of the South then I might try and care again. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still a fan and I hope that they win everytime they take the field, but it’s going to take a lot to get me emotionally involved for the rest of this season.
