He’s got good stats against FCS competition. He passed for 1700 yards and ran for 1200 this past season. Is Utah really going to change their offense so their QB can rush the ball 200 times a season?
Maybe an FCS QB but not for long. He has graduated FCS playing level and after watching his vids it’s easy to see why. He runs like Rising looking for six not just a first down. He’d be a great backup without experience and I’d love to see him challenge Rose.
So is UC-San Diego. Seems like we got a pretty good Tight End out of there a few years back.
Obviously, most FCS players aren’t Dalton Kincaid. But if a player is good, I don’t care where they were playing. Obviously I don’t know if this guy is good, just know that “He was at Holy Cross” isn’t enough to say he’s not good.
Apples and oranges based on different positions. Where Sluka has made his name has been as a running QB. His passing stats are exceedingly mediocre even playing two levels below Utah (P5>G5>FCS). If that’s the kind of QB Utah is looking for, they already had him in Nate Johnson
