Well, it makes sense. This year was supposed to be our year. The entire 5 projected WR targets at the start of the year (Singer, Alford, McClain, Pittman, and Parks) are all gone. Even considering TE’s, Kuithe, Bentley, Lohner, Ryan, and Miki are gone. The WR and TE room is completely devoid of proven talent.

I’d love to have Ryan Browne. Two QB’s who have some experience, who fit the system, fighting for the job.

I doubt we’d get them, but I’d like to see Utah offer Florida CB Ja’keem Jackson and TE Arlis Bordingham, since both were in RES in 2023, and both are positions of need.

I’m confused by the 247 RB rankings. They have Eli Sanders at #10 and Jaylon Glover at #11. Is Sanders undervalued or is Glover overvalued? I sure hope it’s the latter (or we might be in trouble)!

Anyway, we need the Washington State RB. According to On3, he’s visiting Arizona, Utah, UCLA, and USC. I feel pretty good about our odds based on that list. Wouldn’t surprise me if we lost to USC, but we’d utilize him a lot more than they would, we have his RB coach, and I’d hope our NIL is competitive to theirs (given he’d be more important to us than he’d be to them). The flipside is that he’s from California.
