Don’t know how you guys do it. It’s a good thing this is a gutsy little overachieving team because it is so hard to watch. There’s a timeout and commercials seemingly every 4 possessions.

Big12 ball is much easier to watch than Pac12 ball was. They used to call fouls every time down the floor. Completely ruined the flow of the game, and every game turned into a FT contest halfway through each half.

Serious question: Have you watched a football game lately?

Seriously though NFL is so bad. I only watched the Ravens four times all season and it was hard.

I usually mute Utah Football games and try to sync up 700 in my ear when I am watching at home.

For real. There is a commercial break after touchdown. They come back and do kickoff -> 1 play. Followed by another commercial break. That is nuts.

Trend in college football and hoops is longer timeouts. Fans in Rice-Eccles are starting to boo the individual who comes out with the sign displaying the count down clock for when play will resume.

And indeed Big12 officials have a much lighter hand on the game, letting the teams play, especially compared to our former conference.

From an athletes perspective I would say that is the hardest part about the modern game. At least when I workout or play games I hate sitting out and not playing.

Which makes me wonder about all this hate for artificial turfs causing injury. It could be the constant delays and the muscles getting cold.
