The TrDS fans are always claiming our teams are on par because many of the recent games have been decided by less than two possessions.
Yup. And even when the win by Utah is greater than two possessions, their fans are making ridiculous statements similar to “Well, we gave it away. Utah didn’t really win.” Or, “The game was really much closer.”

Here are some actual quotes from that thread:
BYU could have won that game.
Did you know that BYU dominated the 1st half in terms of yards and time of posession?
No, they didn’t dominate. One could argue that it was fairly even, with Utah ahead – points mean more than anything else.
It was not close in the end.
Yea – of course. It was close most of the whole game right??? Only at the very end it wasn’t close. LOL. And, let’s forget about Utah taking a knee on the 3-yard line at the end, making it much worse for BYU.
BYU gave the game away early
No credit to Utah’s ability to force turnovers.
BYU dominated the 1st half, except where it counts – scoreboard.
BYU absolutely didn’t dominate – besides, even if they did, there are two halves in a game.
Utah @2
Dixon fly sweep…
TD with a little help from Mandell…
This is the first TD Utah actually earned.
Notice how Utah never earns anything?
Utah 30 BYU 6
GAME IS SUPER DUPER OVER – and Utah has only earned 10 points at most.
Well, too bad for BYU that football isn’t like gymnastics where judges decide points – otherwise BYU wins every game against Utah based on their assessment of “points actually earned”. LOL.
BYU gave the game away early (the TOs were pretty unforced.
LOL. Bradley Anae really wasn’t in HOT pursuit of ZW – that didn’t happen. Or, Utah’s defense didn’t cover well on the other interception.
