Hearing that he is not happy. I hope Kyle isn’t running off another one.

        I won’t out him but he’s a coach. He’s a solid source.

I haven’t seen or heard anything.  Asked someone in the QB room who also wasn’t aware of anything.  Maybe just a little frustration on Troy’s part…but he’s not showing it to any of the players.

Whitt will jump guys on the headset…he’s the head guy so no one really takes it personally.  99% of coaches freak out the headsets when things go wrong so it’s not a big deal at all.

I can tell you that Taylor always responds, stands up for himself, his decision or for the offense.  Haven’t heard him back down yet.  Always calm and respectful.

Not saying he wasn’t frustrated at times this year but certainly not a major issue at this point.

      Not happy about what exactly?

He was kind of vague, got the impression he didn’t like some meddling going on with the o

As much as fans may hate it, the power run game might be the best option for a Kyle Whittingham coached team. It’s not flashy but we’ve had success with it. Taylor might be learning that.

I don’t care what our offensive identity is. I just want it to be consistent. We cannot keep the OC carousel rolling. Seven OCs in almost as many years is laughable.

I’m really hoping that there isn’t any legitimacy to this rumor (no offense Ute Bc, I just don’t want this to be true).

It would not surprise me in the least to learn that KW told TT that his gameplan for WVU should be to run a lot.

If this is the case, why the hell did Whitt hire him?

whitt says he wants a running QB and a wide open passing game…then he doesn’t let anyone do that.

Also, a power run game would be dumb. We can’t recruit good enough athletes on the edges or good enough QB’s for a power game. There is a reason why only Alabama, USC can do this. Hell, Harbaugh hasn’t been able to do it at Michigan yet.

Spread allows you to be effective with less talent.

Whitt needs to get out of his own way here. The offense was better this year than last. Chill out and let the offense get better.

That is the million dollar question, and the answer to it may be the ultimate reason why Utah and KW go separate ways in the future.

The offense was better this year than last? Based on what?

Impressions seem better because of Huntley but the drop in the rush is alarming to me.

Ain’t that the truth. This year’s offense was no better than last year’s, but because Huntley was a better passer than we are accustomed to, some fans have this delusion that the offense was better.

Why? Vs Washington Huntley was 19/27 293yds, Carrington was injured and barely played. Highly doubt WVU is on par with Washington without starting QB, or RB.

Sounds like off-season bulls**t. Everyone knows that Norm Chow leaving left us off balance and struggling to recover identity. Troy needs a couple more years. Next year is a much better indicator, as per Urban. Troy leaving would be a bigger mistake for him than Utah.
