ParticipantEven though Jack Tuttle was beat out by a Freshman QB at Indiana, I still believe he was the best QB on campus at Utah last year and at Indiana this year. This is all Troy Taylor’s fault.

BlockedWhat are his next transfer options – MAC, Sun Belt, CAA, Big Sky? He could play right away in I-AA, I believe.

ParticipantHeaps transferred first to Kansas, then to Miami. And always rode the bench.

Participantis Tuttle 2nd string or 3rd? I think that makes a huge difference.

Central Coast Ute
ParticipantThe last time I looked at their depth chart, which was a few days ago, he was listed as 2nd string.

mfaulk80
ParticipantHe’s 3rd string according to the depth chart released today.

Dante Guardi
Participantif he was the best QB, why would he be the 3rd string? Remember, Shelley was also technically a freshman last year

Participant*yawn* We’re not worried about a back up quarterback in a random flyover state.

ParticipantTuttle got impatient and decided to take another path. I wish him well and our program will move on without him.

ModeratorMeh. This is the new era of free agency. We’re going to win some and lose some just like everyone else in the country. Have you seen what’s happened to Washington’s QB depth chart since the beginning of spring? Brutal.

ParticipantDidn’t OnlyU say that, had he been put into a live game situation last year, he would have s**t himself? Honestly don’t care anymore…he gone.
-
GunthersRevenge
ParticipantYes OnlyU did say that, but in my 2 1/2 minutes of live observation at Spring camp in 2018, my expert eye said Tuttle was the best QB in camp. I’m sure I’m more informed than someone on the coaching staff who actually watched him play and practice firsthand, day in and day out for several months. On a side note, Troy Taylor is also responsible for the bad air quality in the Salt Lake valley and the rest of our problems.
