Tyler Huntley is quickly becoming one of my favorite Utes

of all time. Who would have guessed that that skinny happy footed freshman would have turned into the leader he has become? He has overcome more adversity than any Ute QB to date, and he just refuses to quit. I’m impressed!

I’ve always loved his work ethic and determination. Unfortunately the last OC just did not use him correctly and he took too many hits. Not every run he took was a called QB run but a lot of them were. The hits added up and took some injuries. My guess is if the OC used him right, we would have seen this Huntley start to blossom much earlier. Maybe even his sophomore season.
