I wonder if UoPay hadn’t paid off Lauri Markkanen and a few other “almost” signees” ended up playing home games in JHHC who the current coach would be?

I’m not sold on the current coaching staff’s recruiting prowess.

One or two impact transfers a year going forward

Smith had to start from a record rock bottom with no time. Now he needs to overcome the memory of the first year. But myself, I feel they are running plays and making adjustments better than any coach since Rick. They have better chemistry than since I don’t know when. I like coach Smith. Last year he had such a talent deficit that it was quite hard to get a read. If he can do what he did at USU at this level we will be fine. Is it possible? I am not sure but it worked for the coach from Bowling Green. But I am also an optimist.
