Its UCLA, Rose Bowl is 25 miles from campus. Parking is a pain and UCLA is the 4th option in the LA area when it comes to football. 30k is about all you’ll get to show up for an average game.
They did but I’m not sure if they reinstated capacity limits yet. As far as I know, both USC and UCLA announced they will allow for full capacity this season.
The place holds 92,000, so it’s not going to sell out often. But you’d think there’d be 50,000 local alumni, students and fans who they could count on to attend a season opener in a year that they’re actually projected to be pretty good.
The last few years I’ve gone there for Utes games, we seemed to be the savages in the corner so loud we were drinking water after halftime because we poured our alcohol beverages on their sorry asses.
Edit: I must disclose, I grew up with the dream of going to, USC. I’ve experienced firsthand how allegiances can change on a dime.
