      Uniform combination for Thursday’s game was released yesterday. Red pants, red jersey, matte black helmet. Not my favorite combo, but I don’t remember doing it ever (at least recently) and it should look good on the field.

      Mixing the black and red uni combos never looks quite right. They need to either do all black or mix the white uniforms with the black.

        Correct you are UteThunder!  For starters, this uniform iteration makes us look like Texas Tech.  We’re better than that.  So if we’re going to go with the Red jersey with Black lid, we should…

        (1)  Go with the White pants.  That’ll look more like the Atlanta Falcons unis — which is a sharp look.

        (2)  Go with a “gloss” black; not the “matte”.  The “matte” looks dull

        And finally, can we bring back our throwback/Ohio St unis!  Those were AWESOME!

          Agreed. Didn’t really think of the Texas Tech connection but now I can’t unsee it. I’d love to see white pants with this combination instead of the red.

          I totally agree with the white pants for this uni combo…looks much sharper IMO

      I am an all red, and all white fan. The black uniforms and throwbacks are fun every now and then, but I just love the solid look. Either way, GO UTES!

      solid uniform but I really am not a fan of black as a main part of the uniform. I love the red and white variations with a few black accents.

      I liked the “dirty bird” a few years back with the black lids, red jersey, and black pants.  This one is kind of bleh.
